    FAS 604 problem

Just bought this from a guy on here. It pressurises just fine, shoots just fine then all of a sudden only fores intermitently. Just a click as though dry firing. Anyone more knowledgable than myself had this problem or know what may be causing it?
    TIA

The FAS has a dry fire option for trigger let off practice. The option comes into play if the cocking lever is not fully extended before closing back.

Thank you for your reply. It does sound like dry fire practice. However, after realising that it only started this problem after I fitted a left hand grip I explored a little closer. When the grip was loosened the problem disappeard. It seems that the bolt hole for the left grip was drilled a little too deep resulting in the fixing bolt interfering somehow with the mechanism. I spaced the bolt back a little with a small spacer and heh ho the problem is gone.
