    It got me wondering Pete.

BAM as in Chinese air rifle, Melv'?

They have done some good clones of classic air rifles in the past.

Yep, I have read in the past that their TX clone was a particularly well-received one, Mark?

I am hoping the hay will be taken off the big field we usually use this week. The rain today may delay that.
Decision will be made at the weekend.
    Repariere nicht, was nicht kaputtist.

They might be horrible little buggers copying other designs but at least they had taste and copied the HW95

I'd never owned a BAM 40 (the TX200 clone), but I seem to remember Mr Budd, commenting that they'd done a better job on the breech seal that AA.

    From memory, They've cloned:

    Diana 34 (xs208)
    HW95 (xs20 or BAM 26)
    Gamo 440 (xs19)
Hammerli 401 (don't know the clone number, as it's way back when)

They also did a FWB 65 clone pistol.

This morning much of the pain has subsided. It feels a bit "gravelly", but not too bad. But vision very blurry still. If I was at work today I wouldn't be able to drive.

Hoping this improves over the coming few hours.

Hope it's improving by now Tony.

Sounds highly unpleasant, hope you are doing better than Tony is Dave.

Spent 6 hours in A&E yesterday myself. Had some odd symptoms, so unusually for me I went to the GP, who turned out to be a 17 year old Iraqi lad. After checking me over & seeing my blood pressure he said I was in danger of immanent death & to go straight to A&E. I wasn't going to go but stupidly let the wife read the letter the doctor had written.

After a very, very, long wait I got to see a 15 year old Indian doctor accompanied by a consultant. The consultant said I was fine & I left without being put on any medication despite having high blood pressure.

Last time I go to the bloody doctors & definitely the last time I tell the wife know what the doctor actually said
