So I've recently acquired the hikmicro alpex 4k lite, currently fitted to my Weichrauch HW100. I have used vortex tactical quick release mounts as i wish to be able to swap over to other guns. I've spent a bit of time on the range getting used to it, running it through the chrono to get data for ballistics etc. Before i started using on pests and vermin.
I have found it easy to use, the image quality is fantastic, mostly used in daylight. The colours are vibrant and better than my pard nightstalker. The functions are logical and again easy to use. Ive had a broken thumb so adjusting the front focus has been a bit tricky sometimes, would be nice if it had a focus lever on the front ring, so for now i just stuck a cable tie on it which helps. Battery life has been awesome really impressed. And it is so light. I had it with me the other night and compared it to my steiner ranger on my .308 looking at a doe roe deer around 250m and have to confess the image was better on the hikmicro. I definitely think digital day night has improved so much over the years and will be utilising this on most of my guns as the ability to set all the profiles and name them is brilliant. So 1 month in, well happy and looking forward to controlling the pests and vermin round the farm, dont think much is hiding from me now lol.
