I did think of responding shortly after your initial posting, but struggled a bit with how best to state my thoughts without sounding too negative. This is because I feel that the markets available to you depend on potential customers balancing needs and cost, and as a generalisation the item in question has Heritage but little remaining cosmetic/user appeal, limiting it's next life to being that of a "project", spares box beauty, back of a Landrover/Garden Shed "five minutes of Playtime to spare Toy", etc.
To my mind this limits its value, and I'd go with the lower of the two suggestions, around £60 or so collected, £80 posted.
Having said that, if breaking for spares falls within your remit, doing so could bring "a few more bob in", and in some part be of interest to anyone who likes "finding out how things work". My last word on the subject is to suggest that in some situations selling two similar items in one "deal" could streamline the whole process as some potential purchasers appreciate ready availability of "keep you going fall back solutions/sources of possible spares".
