Thanks for the kind comments all but the hard work was done by Team Binners. I just walked around ogling what was on offer and snapping some highlights.

Yes, there were bargain basement airguns present, with one dealer in particular highlighting this out with a sign that pointed out his cheap airguns. There were also plenty of parts, spares, stocks, washer, springs, etc. dotted about. I didn't photograph the above as I thought most want to see the rarer items and if you're thinking of making a long trip in future, it's likely to be to snap up a rarity rather than a cheap do-er upper that costs less than the fuel you use en route!

Food for thought though and I'll try and remember to include the bargain basement airguns too next time.

Great pics John - very much appreciated! It seems you did manage to include one bargain basement gun! I am surprsed you didn't snap it up yourself:

Thank you John, as usual the photos show me what I have missed. It takes at least a day to recover and calm down. I bought a sweet Webley mk 3 Supertarget and sold 3 variants of mk2 Service rifles, along with a mk1.
Although our Dementia charity fair is not until September, pellet sales raised £320, with collectors bunging in the odd fiver or tenner, and we thank those kind people.

Please pass on our gratitude to the decent people in the lesser forum.

    Hi John,

A cheeky collector decided to photo bomb my image with the £5 card. I didn't have the heart to start a wind up thread on show bargains!

You're welcome mate and will do.

Glad you made some good sales and the Sept charity fair is off to a start already.

I'm looking forward to the next one already.

It was great to catch up with so many forum members and friends, old and new for a natter. That's another great attraction of these fairs. They bring us collectors out and it is nice to put faces to online names.

There was so much to see it was easy to feel gun blind. Anything from antique ball and butt reservoirs on the Protek Supplies stand to modern PCPs and just about anything else in between.

Protek had a load of newly manufactured pistons and synthetic washers for pre war BSA air rifles, which looked to be of excellent quality. Just the thing for getting an old BSA up and running and completely reversible too.

Protek also had a supply of reproduction tools for the Improved Model Britannia. These looked to be of excellent quality and I was pleased they were stamped PS for Protek Supplies, thereby reducing the risk of them being mistaken for originals.

Anyway, that's enough from me. Here's what you could have bought.
