Plastic but one of Bobs pistols has been stippled by Fido!

You should consider this - the extra bite marks gives a much more secure grip.

You had better move quick - Christmas is coming and walnuts are very popular.

    How many do you have?

True - but then you and I are probably both best described as being "as mad as a box of frogs" - at least occasionally !

.and this is a great natural advantage!

Will GAMO still be the best MPL pistol in 2013?

The new 2013 scoring system won't make much ( if any) difference to the GAMO domination of the MPL series, so we are still searching for an MPL legal pistol that can 'oust it - but there is nothing on the horizon yet that looks like doing it!

How's your Christmas walnut going Steve - have you eaten it yet?

That looks very festive Steve - what did you use to mould that with.........and is that really "fairy dust" sprinkled all over it - or just the lighting?

Plastic padding and sprayed with a textured paint to give a bit of grip.

    Nice job Steve.

I have been thinking (not always a good thing) about making an anatomical grip for my Centre as I just can't hold it as well as I would like with the standard plastic grip - so you are ahead of me and I need to get on with it!

Did you over-cover the original grips, or have you keft them safe and started with a fresh wooden base?

I think I will make a wooden base to fit the pistol frame, but then build it up as you have done but with Milliput until I get the shape right.

If I get brave later I may also go looking for a spare walnut - but that would be a lot of work for a non-woodworker such as myself!

Recently acquired a gamo centre but it's missing a spring from the rear sight, checked chambers and there out of stock. Can anyone suggest somewhere else to try?

Not actually fired this gun but quite looking forward to it.

    Cheers,

    You could try Manchester Airguns.
