    Smile Ratgunner

    Bought a 1,000 4.52 Defiants for a thorough testing,

    very accurate was first impression (be it noted I don't hunt)

    Used in these guns sub 12ft lbs at 52yds

    BSA Ultra

    FX Typhoon

    Brocock Contour

    At this range all guns lacked hitting power due to lack of pellet weight, but very accurate wind not too much of an issue as pellet is so short,

    Moved downrange to 35yds

    Tack drivers in all Guns on paper targets

    Grouping excellent, but for HFT etc need more weight to truly kill the tin chickens,

    If I could get a heavy at the same price I would buy bulk,

    All my Gas Pistols Love them, 5p groups as fast as I can pull the trigger at 6yds (takes practice)

    Though to be fair JSR Geco's at 230p a tin rule the day,

    The groups from the dommy were only slightly bigger than the box the test packs came in at 55yds.

    "Everyone" knows you need proper stopping power for targets, otherwise they don't go down. T'is why .22 is so popular for FT & HFT.

    i thought daystate where stopping making the rangemasters in .177 due to poor sales i found them surprisingly good and very effective on squidgey's heads at 35yrds

    Yes. A real pity. My Air Wolf loves the 4.50 ones.

    When I had it confirmed that Daystate were not commissioning anymore, I bought about 30 tubs!
