    Modern red dots can be used both eyes open or one eye closed. Both eyes closed doesn't work too well though.

    It wasn't exactly that one but very similer.

    You couldn't actually see through the scope.

    It just projected the dot and you saw it on the target with the other eye open.

    Someone had one of these for sale at Kempton a few years ago, I was stood there squinting and blinking for 5 minutes before the seller gently explained how it worked

    A good one is a completely different animal to the cheap stuff you usually see. I use them out to 50m with good effect for fast fire fun

    As above, a good quality one is not cheap, but miles ahead of the £15 ones, which without trying to insult anyone, are crap

    You need a 2 or 3 MOA size and forget all the fancy colours/settings/ret shapes etc.
