Try it in the dark tonight though, I have a feeling you'll have to use it actually mounted above the scope as you might pick up too much glare when looking through the scope with the lamp on from the barrel bluing in it's current postion.

Nice, I like the trigger guard. It would look even more classy if it was engraved.How bright is the light? What range can you see to with it?
Would like to try FT but being a short fat stumpy git i would look like a weeble wobbling about, spraying pellets everywhere like a deranged mafia boss
