Well, my scores are in for one vintage pistol and one open rifle, using a Budget rifle (more diplomatic than Chinese rifle), my Westlake B2.
Good fun this budget rifle lark, especially with the sights' adjustment range being inadequate.
Oh God, I've just thought, I hope there isn't a Budget rifles forum anywhere or we'll have upset another lot of shooters.

    Budget rifle forum

    Relax Jeff
The Chinese Rifle Forum are now happy with us as it was a missunderstanding from start to finish and they know we didn't mean to invade their territory. So providing nobody makes any bad jokes or refferences to Chinese Lifles (yes bad taste but its an illustration, Sorry) we might even get to shoot against them at some point.
For a bit of fun try the last pdf HERE.

    Nice one Jim

Yes, they are nice bunch aren't they. I have joined and found them very friendly and welcoming. They are nearly all mad, irreverent, sarcastic, funny, passionate and knowledgeable about their oriental rifles...
....I have to keep checking the URL window to see whether I'm on the Chineserifles forum or the UBC forum

I'm glad to see that this issue was resolved more cordially than the Hong Kong issue.

After shooting the 6yd competition this morning I found another old pistol I'd forgotten about so I thought I'd have another go at the vintage competition.
This is the pistol, an old Original Model 2

First shot, at six yards, missed the target, the pellet catcher and very nearly the garden fence

Five shots later, and down to THREE yards I still couldn't hit the target
Makes you wonder why they made these in the first place, and why, oh why, did we covet them so much when we were in our early teens? If you owned a Gat gun when you were eleven or twelve, you were someone!

So I guess that's my aspirations of multiple entries in the vintage competition on hold for a while I suppose I'll just have to buy another vintage pistol
