    New airgun club in hampshire/surrey

Just started a new airgun night at my local range

Meet once a month at the moment but this can be more often if i get enough interest.

Fantastic club with 50 yard outdoor range all flood lit with covered firing points. indoor 25 yard range for 10m match rifle and pistol. toilets, kitchen, big car park.

Hopefully going to be doing some internal comps in the summer on the 100 yard range.

All types of airgun welcome INCLUDING F.A.C as the ranges have proper back stops.

    All ages welcome

    N.R.A affiliated club

    Very Interesting evening tonight:

Many thanks Craig-this club has a great deal of potential for an Air section. The ranges are superb, a 50 m and a 100m floodlit range, based in an excavated quarry, so very little wind to trouble us Airgunners
The covered ranges are huge and very deep, so ideal for Airgunners to go prone and zero-there are even prone mats available for use.
The 100m range is surrounded by woodland, so the scope for putting out practice courses is fantastic
The clubhouse is as good as it gets, fully fitted kitchen with microwave available to keep shooters supplied with hot food, indoor toilets, concrete paths and driveways linking the ranges, its got the lot

Craig has got the HFT bug and wants to develop this side of the club, I visited tonight with friends who have a great deal of experience in Airgun clubs and comp shooting and they agreed with me-this club could be perfect for those airgunners who would like to join a new "club" aimed at providing a friendly, accessable and informal facility to shooters of all ability-in short-I LOVE IT

Over to you folks-come and have a look-you wont be dissapointed I believe that Craig intends to open up for airgunners again in two weeks time-Tuesday 15th February-although if there is enough demand (support), this could be extended to weekly shooting

Bloody well done Craig, for getting this off the ground

Rich-(Averageplinker) it was great to chat tonight mate-Hopefully see you next time

Cobham was great wasn't it mate , if this is bigger and has more 'scope' then they are on to a real winner .

I could probably get down once a month to shoot and maybe even drag some chaps along too depending on other commitments .

Yep, that's the one. Had a look round with Graham last night and as he says it has a lot going for it and just what the area needs.

Well done to Craig and Ryan for sticking their necks out and getting the top-bods there to agree to give it a go.

So for anyone wanting to shoot any type of airgun in the general area get yourselves along there, but contact Craig first as things are still in the throws of getting off the ground.

This could be great - watch this space.....

Hopefully see some more faces there on the 15th all being well.
