You would need a SG CERT, I believe they were very effective with a solid single ball / bullet , and you cold re- use the carts ,

I beg to differ regarding the sgc; I am sure the barrel would not be 24in long, and it is air powered, Gamo Viper Express, Crossman conversion for the 2250? there was also another Italian manufactured air shot gun in the 90's.

    Crosman

    Yeah,

The barrel is shorter than 24", the interesting one is the 2250 pistols modded to take the crosman cartridges.

very true on the 12 ft/lbs limit. As the law states a shotgun must fire 6 or more projectiles, any less is a section 1 firearm. Therefore the 12 ft/lbs must apply otherwise the Crosman 'Triple Strike' Would be a section 1

it does exceed 12 ft lbs and it is co2 not air , I also think the barrel is over 24 inch ,

update ,barrel length 28 inch true cylinder , bore .383'' , uses two co2 carts , 350 fps with a 7.7 gram slug aprox 20 shots on full power ,

yes Jud , on low power Crosman reckon 35 shots with a 118 grain slug at 300 fps 23.5 ft lbs , most people used them as slugsters, as they were useless as a shotgun ,

Yes it is designed to be a co2 shotgun , shooting Crosmans own plastic clays that split into two when and if you could hit one , you would need a SGC , and used with a single slug in this country would require you to have a part 1 FAC , thats why you couldn't buy pre loaded cart's with a Brenek slug for shotguns ,,
