    TX200 Mark IV

Anyone heard any further news on this rifle?

    Any more details?

    Expected dates?

I keep seeing the odd cheapie budget gun to use as a project. But, if the Mark IV is due to be announced anytime soon, it'll be easier to get it by the wife if I behave and don't buy any more toys beforehand.

Also keep teasing myself with the little Baikal IZH53 springer pistol for indoor use.

Mmm, it was that Bigtoe01 bloke that started that previous thread.

Where's he been just recently, anyways?

Well, if there ain't to be a MarkIV in the foreseeable future, looks like a cheapie or two may come my way.....

Snowboarding chaps....home a week, then off again for a week with a mate...Jan is always a busy month for me + mountains

Rumour is AA tested a gun built close to the specs we have been working here on the forum, they admitted it shot nice...

After that I have no further info.

It is possible to build one from a mk3 like i did, I still have a brand new Mk3 piston with guides and spring here which I never fired one pellet with...i just used the mk3 to build my own mk4

It can be made shorter and lighter...however i like easy to cock also remember looking at the LGU piston I have a feeling another 5mm could come off for 77mm stroke.

77 is where I like them for the full length, I have got a standard piston down to 170 grams, and 77mm stroke, with the standard piston rod, though I have lost a little spring room.

nah. We've all moved on to 21 or 22mm dia compression chambers in our TX's now.... AA will have a tough time keeping up
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
