    Dovetail fitting open sights, front and rear reqd

    I have a lovely old Mk1 Parker Hale Dragon and want to iron sight it.

    It’s got a dovetail front and rear.

    Does anyone know where I can get a set of quality opens for this?
    At a push, if I can find a high quality rear, I could make a front sight in the miller from an old scope mount base.

    Any thoughts gratefully received!

    look at the Williams range the wgrs 54 is a dovetail rear brownells uk stock them along with different elements

    It’ll be getting the front site with dovetail where I think I’ll struggle most. Anybody got and ideads on that please?

    As above - HW dovetail front sight?
    Depending on barrel thickness there may be other options - any idea what it is?

    Ah, hadn’t realised HWs had dovetail fr sights.
    Barrel on Mk1 Dragon is about 1/2” but with an odd (M10?) moddy thread out front. The front sight moune also locates the free end of the barrel. Not many neat options.

    Chambers are currently out of stock, but there are a couple up for auction on The Bay.

    If you give me the dimensions of your front dovetail I can tell you if it's going to fit or not...

    For some reason I can’t load pics anymore, but it was only the front dovetail, which is 1/2” across at the top and tapered as is normal.
