    Help - BSA Break barrel - 1936

    Help - Wanted.

I wonder if anyone could help me find/locate/purchase/beg/steal the trigger guard for a 1936 B.S.A. break barrel ?

I've tried Mr Knibbs and Protek with no joy.

    Thanks, in anticipation,
    Barrie

The front of trigger guard is secured to the spring housing part of the main cylinder by two screws and the rear of the trigger guard is dovetailed into a slot between the trigger housing and the stock.
    (hope that makes sense !)

Ah ok, I have a spare tang type but not the other type. The one you describe come in two sizes. Some had the small slot and others a larger slot for the rear of the trigger guard.

Look on E bay, there are always some on there.

    Thank you.....
Have messaged the seller asking if it will fit a pre-war break barrel and if it has the trigger adjusting ‘tapped’ hole.
