The one I have fitted to my HW30 has an adjustable iris. I dont know where I got it from it just appeared in my spares box. I find this very useful because it takes into account varying light conditions.

I'm going to get a weaver rail purely so I can mount them
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Easy with the Weihrauch sight, it clamps the washer while the glue sets. Making another peep sight for the Swiss Arms LG-1

If anyone has one spare please let me know.

If you glue a small diameter washer on the back sight notch you have a a great peep sight. You can also fit a cheaper Chinese version as I have on my HW 95. If you cannot source one send me a PM.

These sights are for the Weihrauch HW77, but they are quite expensive, ranging from £66 to £76, unless someone knows of a cheaper supply. When I get them I tend to keep them as they can be fitted to some other rifle that have scope rails. I find the Chinese version of these sights more useful as the Weihrauch type need an open scope rail for them to fit. The Chinese design can be fitted to a "blind" scope rail that has closed ends.

Williams Peep sights were mentioned and I.J. kindly brought his HW30 to the club yesterday for me to try. What a difference.
Are these still available? I've looked everywhere and can't find any.
My only other option is to buy a cheap SMK diopter sight but I have been advised against them.
As there seem to be a couple of people interested in these Williams sights I checked the Bay of E for the people who supplied miy two. They appear to still be selling them and the price looks a tad lower than I paid. At the mo' they are $40 and $5 postage to UK.

ps , still enjoying yours Pete? I find I'm using mine more than scopes recently and now use them out to 20yds before my eyes let me down on 1"targets. Today I'm going to use some bigger targets, probably 10m pistol jobbies, and ahve a bash at 50m!

Plenty of top quality vintage target sights on evilbay from Anshutz, Walther, FWB etc for that sort of money, if not a fair bit less...
