Ok, so I'm not imagining it.

    Now, has anyone used one?

Is it an upgrade for the original HW100 mod?

The original takes some beating TBH.

I'm after one for a .22lr, it currently has an Aimsport which I bought as it's compact, I now need the quietest so I don't annoy the neighbours. That's why I'm wondering if anyone has tried one and whether it's quieter than the original.

The original HW was not .22lr safe, I doubt these will be, SAK is cheap & good on .22lr.
The bullet impact will be louder than the shot.

I have a new case for it, I'm now worried the new mod won't fit!
