Theoben is not a spring gun and there is something a bit ... hmm about them.

The Original 50 is the underlever with the full-length stock that you are thinking of. The earlier ones with the Schnabel-tip fore-end are the nicest ones.

    Hi Mally

Just been busy with the end of contract stuff plus family is back in UK so been spending time with them.

Yes, I have a Vulcan also. Should have a gamekeeper quite soon too.

Hopefully be at the classic thing if I can get the car sorted.

I have Airsporter and Diana g80 keep having a look on Henry Krank web site in the vintage air rifle section.A Dealer in Leeds who I use and I have found them super to deal with only about an hours steady drive from Manchester. Also try the meeting at Rivington riflemen this sunday a stones throw from you advertised in the collectors section of this site.If you needed directions to Henry Kranks I could do them for you as its easy enough from the M62-M621

I saw your post on the Krank site. Book marked it. I will definitely go there soon.

Started off collecting the latest PCP's but hooked on the springers totally now apart from early and very different PCP guns.

For sheer quirkiness, add a 0.25 Bugelspanner.

The engineering is superb and they are great fun. So easy to zero the sites as well ... you can watch the pellet in flight all the way.

Other favourites: HW77 .. the older (26 yrs plus) version not modern one.
    Webley Victor
Webley Service, with 3 barrels if possible (if only!)
    Air Arms EX88
    BSA Mod D
    RWS 48/52
    FWB 124/127
    FWB 300S

We could add a few more but all the above are capable of some serious fun shooting today. I still use my HW77K for HFT. My daughter uses a FWB300S for 10m shooting.
    Cheers, Phil

At last someone has added a BSA pre-war underlever to the list
It took five pages for it to happen though

My top 'eleven' list would be as follows. (couldnt fit it all in a top ten list)

    H The Lincoln Rifle
    L The Lincoln Rifle
    The BSA Air Rifle
The BSA Air Rifle (Lincoln Jeffries Patent)
    BSA Improved Model B
    BSA Improved Model D
    BSA Standard Light Pattern
    BSA Standard Sporting Pattern
    BSA T pattern Standard .22
    BSA A pattern .177
    BSA Club Standard .177

    Pure Quality !!!!!
