Trying again
Hi all,
I have two questions,
1. I have a HW45 in 22 calibre, not mint condition, but fair used, has one largish scratch vertical from muzzzel down over and standard grips.
However it is not Hull Cartridge, and has the pentagon with an F inside it which I believe is the continental power level which is lower than ours.
What power will this be putting out?
2. Would this have an effect on the value, as I have an ideato sell it.?
Many thanks in hope of some response.
Maay even part ex it for an RWS c225

1. Sounds like some form of grey import. As long as it is under the UK limit I wouldn't consider it to affect the sale value as it would only be a matter of re-springing it if the velocity is on the low side. Perhaps get it tried out on a chrono.
2. Value will be dependent on condition. I would say the scratch you mention will knock the value back rather than anything else.

The F in the pentagon means it's power is within the German 7.5 Joule federal power limt - seeing as how this is just over 5½ ft/lbs in English money and right at the top end of an HW45's output I wouldn't take this as being indicative that it is any less powerful than a Hull Cartridge version....
i think it would affect the value as the person buying it would have to buy a new spring and either take the time to fit it or pay someone to fit it
