i am soon to be getting my tomahawk fitted with a full v-glide kit from v-mach.
steve is not taking on any work at the minute but is still able to provide the kits. due to him not taking on any more work he is recommending having the kits fitted by a select few gun smiths that he would trust to work under the v-mach name.
i was quoted £35 by lyn lewington (venoman) for the following:
this is what i was told by steve:strip check and hand finish internal parts, enlarge and countersink the transfer port .Fit the V Mach kit and adjust the power
hope that helps1. Std kit, spring, seal guides, lubrication, adjustment and
instructions £74.55
2. V-Glide kit ( exchange for your piston unit) £140, all the above,
replacement piston with reamed internals, machined outer to accept
synthetic ring at the front and synthetic block at the rear, piston
finished to a high standard.
3. V-Glide-Non Exchange £160, you keep original piston, this set is as
above. The new kit however must be collected or go to an RFD locally
to you for collection there, normally the RFD will attach a cost for
this service.

I have a Sandwell Fieldsports tuned Longbow, so yes we know they are good
give sandwell a ring my mate had his hw77 done and its so smooth worth every penny
how does it work? i don`t know but it does
I would support this as the best option for you at the moment if you don't have facilities to make your own spring guide set as it sounds like a bargain to me. I have a few Venoms/V-Machs and some I've done myself and also had a SFS Stingray. So do it yourself if you can - it will give great satisfaction - or get Venoman to do it for you. The Tommys and Longbows (Brumbows!) are very easy to strip if you have a spring compressor (or a strong pal) and a pleasure to work with!
Good luck and enjoy the Tommy whichever way you go!
