At that power the eley magnums are magic.
Just wondering, has any of you ever bothered to size the Korean pellets? I found these pellets to group pretty good, and over the chrono very consistent in a FAC 50 ft/lb Rapid. In fact they prove to be more consistent that H&N Barracuda's. Even tough the weight is pretty inconsistent, ranging from 27.3- 28.6 grain and the shape if the individual pellet can be appalling
.
Me being a member of a shooting club find it interesting to shoot at a 100 meter range (just for fun). Whilst doing so I found that the Korean pellets outperform the Barra's.
I wonder what the Eley magnum slugs are like.
My initial question, would I get tighter groups after sizing or is it not worth the trouble ??

my local shop manager told me they dont make them any longer.
he was using them in his 60ftlb ripley.

I have been given the same info as snock - they are deleted from the range
Yes but I heard a whisper they will be available again ,you do need the higher power for them but they are really stable and efficient downrange very hard hitting but prone to ricochet.Ok on my isolated shootsOriginally Posted by magicdog
