Looks great BTW. How much did the engraving set you back?
Nice guy and super engraver. I work with his son and seen some of his work. You can view one one on Harley's on YouTube.

Birmingham
very nice
covers the rust
i am a fan of all of dons work
very nice
Have to say, that type of thing is not really my cup of tea, but I don't have to like it to see that he does what he does extremely well. I'll bet you're pleased with it, which is all that counts.
Grez
Those are stunning
I have a few Webbos that i'd love to look like yours
A few questions...
1/ Does Don do the chiselwork and the reblue/black??
2/ How long is the turnaround? (I imagine he'll be up to his eyes in work!!)
3/ Would I need to take out a second mortgage to pay for the work??
Beautiful guns now
Cheers, John

hi John
this is how Don explained the process to me,first he will send the pistol minus the internals and grips to a friend in Leeds who will polish and take out any scratches imperfections and exsisting lettering but he will leave serial no's ,this is then returned to Don with a highly polished and smooth finish this is where Don starts to work his magic, the engraving on both of my pistols took him about a week after which he will then send it off again to be blacked/blued somewhere in Birmingham I think any way the whole process from delivering them to fetching them back was about 3/4 weeks but this can vary depending on his work load, I estimate that from what he told me each pistol has about 40 hours work put into them and the final price works out at about £10 approx ,if you have the chance to take the guns to him personally you meet a very pleasant and thoroughly nice man.
hope this helps Graham
What is the copper plating you have on one of them?

Don is an artisan and a true talent.
Sadly i cannot abide engraving - even on shotguns.
I would rather have a prince albert and I have a phobia of needles.
However, if you like it, Dons the man.
