Best scope i ever had until Deben snatched it back and palmed me off with numerous inferior mark 2's.
Still got a Mark 1 somewhere.

OK - I'll bite! I bought one last Sunday - it seems better than the one I had years ago, for clarity. The sidewheel has no slop, either. What is the difference/distinguishing features? My old one had very thin cross-hairs and tiny central dot (I liked it a lot). The "new" one has a duplex reticle i.e. thick posts/thin lines. I'm curious.

Does that say anything extra?

Not to me Keith
Aha - just took the windage turret cover off, that's how much I've looked at it - been busy! 1/8 MOA. Whoopee! I said it was better than one I had about six years ago, too!
Keith
I jujst hope the windage turrent cover is original - funny thing is though, it says "UP". I'll have a look under the modified (large) top turret cover soon, maybe there's one there that says "Right"??!!
Keith
The Mk1s are widely regarded as the best. I believe swapping the turrets when the markings wore out was fairly common too.
I think you're right - I had to go out for my Allen keys, the turrets are swapped over. The odd thing is there is what looks like a very shiny, new-looking "Inspected by Asia Optics" sticker under the turret region.
