You want Garry on here, I bought some off him and very nice they were too...see here : http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread....rethane+webley
Hope that helps
I know that somewhere I've seen a Webley Senior or Mk1 (slant) with white grips, it was chrome or nickle and although perhaps not to everyone's taste, in my opinion was really eye catching. My question is does anyone know where I may be able to get a pair of white grips? As an educated guess I'm thinking they are likely to be after market jobs or perhaps one offs made by some one? Many thanks Phil.

I've seen a pair of these white grips, and they are certainly an excellent reproduction of the original. I believe other colours are now available.
hi, might have been this one of mine you have seen, the grips did indeed come from garry.. http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/...psfc2eejwb.jpg

more guns than you can shake a stick at!
Hi, That's the one!! Quite an infamous pistol really, somehow everyone(in our circles) recalls seeing it at some point. I contacted Gary and he's going to kindly look to see if he has any white grips left, keeping my fingers crossed. Looks like you have a very nice collection of Webbo's! Many thanks Phil
hi phil,i had the premier nickel plated a few years back and a set of garrys white grips suited it down to the ground in my opinion.i put up a few pics of this "pimped"gun on this section of the forum and to my suprise most folk liked it.i wouldnt have done it if it had been a nice old patinated gun but it was one of the black painted webleys in poor cosmetic condition.it makes a nice centre piece to the air pistol section of my collection.[i have put up a photo but good old photobucket has turned it upside down] http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/...psizswaigt.jpg

Well, maybe it isn't to everyone's taste perhaps but no one can say you ruined something mint condition and rare, you took something that was relatively common and worn and made something unique. I am doing something similar to a Mk1, there was virtually no blue left but no real pitting so I stripped it down and it's now in the white waiting for final prepping before being plated. I may be lucky enough to get some white grips if not I'm not sure, possibly a pair of brass ones. I have a few other slant grip mk1's one is virtually as new, one is my "user" and looks like it was rescued from the Titanic so I thought a nickel plated one would kinda fit in my collection, like you I wouldn't "pimp" anything irreplaceable.
