    Hi sorry short post, not much time have to go out. Be jolly careful when closing the handle, it can give you a painful pinch if your skin overlaps the end.
    Cheers.

    It's a good looking rifle.

    Would make an excellent trail / survival gun being light and self contained with what look like decent open sights.

    At first glance, the reach to pull looks excessive but it's actually not. The dimensions of the stock wouldn't allow it.

    I'd be tempted if I could be arsed pumping it up. My Innova and Bluestreak days are long gone. I prefer my compressed air
    on draught!

    Comes down to cost, at £80 yeah, £120 possibly £150+ no. I have also not had a decent pumper that is not a innova and seen just how badly they can cock up the innova with the rebel. Had 3 of them and they were all bad in different ways.

    I don't really get MSP guns... just buy a PCP and a hand pump, gives a much better solution overall.
    Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

    Self contained compactness is what I like. Plus easy to fix and generally FAR more reliable than pumps. I’ve had several dead (and rebuilt to die again!) pumps to prove it, and 1955 and 1963 pumper rifles still going strong (with some love).

    Just my opinion

    Looks quite interesting.

    I kind of agree with JB that the pumper has had its day, but:

    - I do like the older ones, like the Sheridan, mostly for nostalgic reasons;

    - but also for vaguely practical ones. They are nice light handy plinkers (on 2-3 pumps) with the potential (after a few more pumps) to be useful for light pest control work at shorter ranges. If that's what you need from an airgun, the pumper still delivers it.

    Is this LR700W pumper available in the UK yet?

    I’d like a look at one.

    How difficult would it be to convert to HPA or CO2? For those of us who like the idea of a pumper but can't be arsed.

    Probably a lot more difficult & expensive than just buying a good proven cheap secondhand pcp......unless you had your own engineering workshop , a lathe & plenty of spare time, LOL.
