It makes me furious to see what has now become of that great British brand, founded I think in 1790.
I wonder how much it was bought for? In the right hands, that could have become a great and innovative manufacturer again, producing in the UK.
No, not the new prototype, but this old one....

Hi Pete, that's a nice one with having all 3 barrels, the new one will never beat the old one.
Ahhhh yes, but if you want a Coke, buy a Coke. Out of interest Binners Old Bean, what value would you put on the cased Service with all three barrels as in the opener, here, please? ... Also, as my Service is not going anywhere anytime soon, know you of any .177 or .25 period spare Service barrels that are Kempton bound which may be for sale?

That beautiful, definition of unobtainium.
For a Sheridan Model F and a Taiyo Juki 'Kingfisher'(rather like a Crosman 400)I got a nice boxed .25 cal 'Service'with full boxes of pellets and oil can. To which I later added a .177 and .22 barrel. This kit recently sold for $1400NZ. So 'deals can be had!
