They made it short in the first place so you don't need to cow-kitten it.

Accurate and it has a nice trigger, and you could probably shoot it one-handed if you got attacked from behind by a giant rat out of the rat version of The Matrix, doing a sort of diving spinning move that would keep you alive just long enough to put a Hobby through its bonce. If you need more shots then just carry a small bottle with you, its just for critters not for HFT innit?

    For hunting I prefer clinical.
For exciting hunting you need an untuned springer. Plenty of anticipation wondering whether you'll kill cleanly or mame or possibly a nice little CO2 rifle, plenty of excitement wondering what power it will make on the day

I've GOT to have it apart and see how it was done. I have a feeling its just a big block of alloy with a 40mm long transfer port in it.

It's sort of a hymn to Lost Volume.

    Nick-

I've a P10 in 22 which I'll probably not use again sadly. I've got the 10 shot mag for it plus a homemade single shot tray. It's got a good scope on it which I can't remember what it is (that's how long it's been since I shot it.) Think you've got my phone number, give me a call and we can talk about it. If not PM me
video transferred to DVD, USB etc. Old negs and photos scanned to digital media

Now you are in a vulnerable position, have you considered an HW35 Export? Sometimes what we need is the exact opposite of what we want...

Come on, it was once the finest sporting air-rifle on the market. Grown men would dribble over the adverts like the Page 3 Models they saw in The Sun, and curse their faithful but unglamorous BSA Meteors .

It's like a Supermarine Spitfire, except not an aeroplane and German instead of British. I know its confusing but you have to have faith in the Olde Writers of Airgun World like Arthur Shepherd and Geoffery Boxall, who crowned it the Best Air Rifle.

Cool. I wonder if you skimmed it down that it might fit in one of those Leg of Mutton shotgun scabbards. The you could be like a Cornish Indiana Jones.

Owned one for a couple of years, very accurate with jsb, built like a tank, very easy to strip and replace the cheap o rings. My only gripe is that it takes a good yank to cock first time which is why I single load it.
