I'm using the old skan units, Just so easy to use and faultless for reading,
Using a Pro Chrono Digital, tried loads and its the best I have ever used. Difficult to find now biut well worth tracking down or importing from the USA.
Kindest regards

IF I WALKED ON WATER PEOPLE WOULD SAY I COULD NOT SWIM !
I use a LMBR RA2. A great piece of kit, not the cheapest @ £140 but works in all light conditions
and gives you all the information you could want.
I use a LMBR RA2. Works in all light conditions, can give readings in metric or imperial. As the man above says not cheap, but reads every shot without fail.
I'm using a Caldwell Chrony. It connects to an app on my smartphone where you can see entire shotstrings. Is also lets you store a photo of the group you've shot. Very useful when working on a pcp, for example when changing reg-pressure. The app allows you to export shotstrings in a file that can be used in MS Excel where you can make graphs of it. Very handy to find the ideal filling pressure and sweetspot.
Hi,
I use the Caldwell pro kit. The tripod is a bit naff, but does the job. As others have said, I like the fact that I can connect it to my phone and it records all the data you could want.
I can also use it for my firearms to test my home loads.
Regards,
Mark.
Another vote for the LMBR R2A. Sturdy, easily carried, not affected by any light I've tried, can be used downrange and extremely consistent/precise.
Ive got a combro and now that Ive stopped using (shooting) it with break barrels its great,,,
F1 currently. Owned for about 11 years and still doing okay.
My next will be a Skan when the F1 does finally expire.
THE BOINGER BASH AT QUIGLEY HOLLOW. MAKING GREAT MEMORIES SINCE 15th JUNE, 2013.
NEXT EVENT :- August 3/4, 2024.........BOING!!
Skan for me too. Never had any trouble with it (I forget how long I've had it now but it's been years) and simple to use.
Had a combro before that which was okay but a bit of a faff swapping between rifles and alignment. I also used to get the odd spurious reading on it which was usually due to batteries.

That new FX chrony looks good. Currently using an F1 and a Combro.
Just shot my F1, it still works and on my second Combro for the same reason.
Time for a change!!
