It's a great garden gun and i shoot pests with it. I've put a fair bit of money in to it but it's a keeper. I'm very fond of it. A very good piece of engineering but poorly finished by BSA in the day. The Merc "S" should have knocked the socks off the competition from Germany but they messed up. I hope to fall on a scope from the period but the Hawke is just fine at the moment.
