    Jsb lead free

Well got my lead free .25 JSB Exact kings, 16.54gn so had a play .

Must say initial findings I'm quite impressed they're unmistakably JSB although the skirt recess is very shallow & the skirt quite thick reminiscent of accupells.
    https://ibb.co/J35T9mX .

Conditions were somewhat gusty so not perfect at 40yds, the targets are 55mm, each ring is 5mm with a 10mm bull. 5 shot groups.

    Now I tested them with the Rapid which has the worlds fussiest barrel & only shoots JSB/AA pellets, everything else is rubbish, and initially at full power (42ftlb) to get this;
    https://ibb.co/fDJW2Fd .
That is better than any non JSB lead pellet
as a comparison, although 3 & 5 are the only ones I'm happy with
    https://ibb.co/kScvYL7 .

I reckon these have real potential with the power turned down a bit, as 1054fps average is too much for a diabolo pellet, When I get a chance I'm going to fit a lighter hammer spring & try them at around 900fps.
they could be very good at sub 12.

Of course the main issue with zinc pellets remains, I dug these out of the target, lead V zinc, 40yds at 42ftlbs

Thanks for reporting your findings on these pellets .
I am interested in testing them with my sub 12ft/lbs springers.
Where did you obtain your pellets from please.

I ordered a tin this morning, hopefully they go through the Beeza barrel and have decent accuracy, be interesting to see what power they make.

I chrono'd them in my Supersport and they where doing 549fps which comes out at about 10.9ftp but lead Air Arms .25 are doing 445fps but are doing 11.1ftp, so interesting results, not done an accuracy test yet.

Well it's a Supersport with Lightning barrel fitted.

When you say "is your barrel a tight fit"?

Do you mean are the pellets tight in the barrel?

    Yes mate.
Some of the Bsa barrels in. 25 can be a tight fit for the pellets.
My lightning is OK with the milbro pellets, but I use a pellet sizer for the Hn ftt pellets.

Luckily my Lightning barrel is fine and I can use any .25 pellets (No problems with normally tight German pellets) but the first Lightning .25 barrel I got was so tight I struggled to get .243 pellets in it, even after being sized (but I did buy it cheap from John Knibbs so was probably rejected by BSA quality control).

They are hard to load into the barrel, shame really well not really not many in the tin and way more expensive than the ffts

They should have come out with RS type or express but in .25

I agree, you get 350 pellets with the AA .25's for about the same money, I only bought these to see what they will be like because of their lighter weight, I'm not worried about them being lead free, hopefully if I get time tomorrow I'll see how their accuracy is.

    Had to revive the thread,
I recently bought a scorpion .25 sub 12 off another member (what a super rifle ) & having tweaked it back up from the high 9's to 11.6-11.7 had a quick zero session this afternoon between showers.
While it doesn't seem at all pellet fussy, except Bisley Pest Control which it doesn't seem to like, it shot the JSB lead free single hole at 571fps although at 11.98ftlb a touch too close

I'm sticking to JSB Exact King .25 lead pellets as our host has them at a very good price (and they are just as accurate as the .25 AA's), my Lightning barrel didn't like the lead free ones.
