    As the TX is just a rip off of the 77 and the Pro Elite was a rip off of the 80, I think they should now do a 95 rip off with that lovely 25mm piston of theirs and some georgeous wood.

    I would put down a deposit today!!

    The '77 didn't have a concentric piston transfer port set up or a free rotating piston. The TX can be dismantled without taking the trigger out without hardly any pre load . The PE had a far greater muzzle energy and again a free rotating piston and central transfer port compared to the '80. These AA rifles aren't really a rip off of any rifle; at-least I don't think so

    Ok, maybe "Starting point"?! (I didn't mean rip off in a derigatory way)

    In both cases they improved the design which is why I'd like them to look at the 95

    Yes looking at it I suppose so. Ken Turners early stainless steel prototype's did adopt a central transfer port. I'd like to know why the breech block wasn't re jigged to allow this. The PE I mean. Interesting?

    No I wouldn't think so. I'm confused why they had that tight spot in the PE comp tube too?? I'm sure the rifle was sold originally as having a free rotating piston though as the sear set up would've been from the TX naturally.

    Left handed prosport

    I've emailed them at least 3 time when I've had a drink or 10 asking that question about a left handed prosport. Always get the same response that there is no interest!

    Ah, y'see; had John asked them about their plans for a break barrel they would have revealed that they do have one in the final stages of development, Nick.












    I believe the HW35 was the main inspiration!!!
