I use "Waze" sat nav app, I'll just be putting Wharfe Rd into it. You can't miss the range it's in a huge red brick Victorian mill.

    That sounds disgraceful re Vodafone.

35 barrels are excellent. And I have a known very accurate .22 Supersport barrel, if you were ever to need it.
Fate has decreed that you & that supersort will be together for the rest of time Tony

I have been thinking about the 95 with it's lightened piston I've barely shot, and the Sirocco that has been out of action since the summer but is fixed & now has it's seemingly unused .22 barrel on.

Now another thought has entered my head. It's not far to Redbeck from Donny is it ? Guess what they've got in stock...

Oh, that's really near, I'm not going to sleep tonight for hatching evil plans of buying something made in Birmingham.

Yep, excellent shop is Redbeck. Very competitive prices and not far from Doncaster. When I went there in the Autumn it only took me about 45 minutes' steady drive from Retford and we're 20 miles south of Doncaster.

    Question @ Dan and everyone.

Peeps. This bloody lurgy is seemingly going nowhere fast. If anything, it's getting worse. Went to get some Lemsip last night (usually works best for me) and some chesty cough linctus stuff. Fingers crossed it might get better.

    Questions are.

    1) Dan. Do you want me in the car? No problem at all if that's a "no" as I can drive myself and I most certainly wouldn't be offended if you don't want me in your car.

    2) Happy to attend and, obviously, looking forward to it. Is everyone else okay with me coming and potentially coughing like a twat most of the day?

I suppose it's not the end of the World if I had to keep the Supersport. If I get those trigger bits (and, who knows, I might be able to get it working again with the existing parts if my eyes play ball and I have enough patience), despite its very challenged looks and slightly bent up barrel, the action is super sweet and consistent and it's very accurate. The perfect rough use / wet weather gun.

So, you thinking 95 and Theoben too?

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Just a quickie, chaps. I've had a message from Brian at rhe range.

He'll be about from about 7.30 to unlock gates etc. Due to issues with some of the other businesses there, parking might be tight and we may have to double park etc.

There is the log burner there and even hot water bottles, but Brian says it'll be cold, so be prepared and dress accordingly.

He has a new auto change target that he's been perfecting and it looks like we're going to be testing the prototype if he can get it finished tonight.

There's all us lot, plus all lanes on the other half are booked up for all day, so there will be plenty of people there. Atmosphere will be great.

    Can't wait.

Yep, I think I've heard in the past that it's due to how the barrel is brazed onto the breech block that causes the issue, Jon?
