Took the model 50 to the range yesterday, it's a bit harder to cock than my HW97 but still only making around 6 ft/lbs despite feeling like it's way over 12, I'm wondering if the synthetic seal isn't sealing

Worse than that it will not zero, it's grouping well, very well but 4 or so inches to the right & down from the bull. No amount of adjustment of the sights will correct this, I even took the front sight off & put it on the other way around. I did re-blue the front of the barrel & I'm wondering if it's in need of a crown polish, ie there's a bit of bluing causing this

The HW 45 I bought off Nick is feeling sublime with the TBT kit & Aussie seal installed, and now has a red dot that my eyes can cope with.
I'm wondering if that new seal might actually be really tight? How did it feel when pushing the piston in? Would you also guess this or suspect leakage more? Is the loading tap sealing okay?

Is there a chance that the rearsight is causing the point of impact issue?

Great to hear the 45 is pleasing.:
