Do any of you nice Boingerati peeps have a spare trigger blade (and adjuster screw) knocking about spare that might fit an early Supersport, please? Think it might be a fairly generic item.

Got a ton of HW factory blades and screws here if you can use them in any way, pal?

Both excellent ideas, not sure I'll have time before the bash though. What would you suggest to rod a pellet through with ? I should have paid more attention when I fitted the piston, but nothing really stood out, just seemed to push in as I added the spring, I'll have to check this.

The weather looks a bit iffy for Thursday, and scorchio on Friday with a high of 25°c !

Damp & cool Saturday morning, which might be a boon for those who need a bit of a lay in Warming up later.

Wind never gets about 12 mph.

I'm so tempted to bunk off work & get down there now

Oooooooh.........if only! Thank you for that most kind offer, Craigy but, unfortunately, I don't have the equipment or skills to make that sort of transplant a possibility.

It's for that manky, crap looking but very well shooting old Supersport of mine. I'm probably going to need a blade and the trigger strut. I don't know if you can picture it but it currently has a non-standard, home-made-by-someone, trigger. Currently not working - that's a long story. To be honest, I'm in two minds as to whether to break it and sell it for parts (guessing it'll be worth more that way) or sell it as a complete project gun. Or I might just have another go at trying to make it work.

In many ways, it'd be a shame to break it. Although it looks truly awful, as you might remember, it shoots superbly. Very sweet action with the TbT guide and top hat. Very, very accurate, too. That barrel is bent upwards slightly - it's been like that all the time I've had it. Really torn as to what to do with it, especially as the barrel is so, so good on this one.

Nice to have a "manky weather gun" for rainier days at The Bash. I pulled the little Brocock Independent out yesterday to make sure that's okay, which it is. Saves getting any nice 97s and the Vantage getting wet if it rains at this Bash.

Might just bring this old nail along in case anyone might want to re-home it.

Again, safe journey, young man. You're probably on the road already now? Shame you're having to miss the next one but, as you say, make the most of this one and at least you're getting in that extra day this time.

    See you Saturday.

Dodging rain and thunderbolts may be the order of the day on Thursday.

    Good planning, sir.

Hope all goes to plan on the check up, Pete.

Yep, I often used to bring more guns in the past, but just find it so much easier these days to bring along two or three. Saves time on planning & packing etc.

Oh yes, indeedy, it'd be lovely to get there today, keep Mike company and make it a five day event!

Let's hope the forecasters miss the mark with the more negative periods of the forecast and that the good periods more than make up for it.

As Waddy said earlier, earlier Saturday looking a little damp but getting much better by mid-morning. Friday and Sunday looking really good. Guessing the ground is nice and firm underfoot now?
