Outstanding work. The colour hardening on my Pietta/Brocock Navy Colt looks grey by comparison. There's a little still left on my Snider lock, but it's dulled with age now.
Good to see someone's still doing it. Like the knapping on the Pennsylvania rifle flint.

Lovely work Spartan, can you explain how you do the colour hardening? In my books you need to use leather scraps and fireclay.
