Dont worry about your scores, just enjoy shooting the old rifle, its just an excuse to fire them.I could easily get another 10-15 points on some of those scores if I took my time and took it seriously.
If we get enough people interested in shooting these, maybe then look at running some sort of postal comp.alongside this thread.
Good luck and enjoy

So at the moment you are winning in all THREE categories: S.S.P. CLASS, CO2 CLASS and RECOILING CLASS. Have you not got a recoiless springer?
I will bring my Walther LG55 up to the club on Weds night - so then you will become second.
Just goes to prove - nowt wrong with the old CO2 be it rifle or pistol.
Lets get some scores in.

Nice shooting - and the difference in scores between a gas powered rifle and a springer (with the same shooter) looks about right.
The Match 91 SSP has also shown the difference between a kicker and a recoilless rifle quite well too - but it is surprisingly close to the CO2 - although if the CO2 has just joined the fleet is may well stretch the difference a little bit further even though the Match 91 is an exceptional SSP rifle that has been shot for some time.
The last time I saw it in action it won the Rossendale Bell Target Match - so it has some pedigree
Rossendale Target Shooting Club. Every Tuesday and Thursday evening 7 - 10pm.
My competitive side is starting to twitch now
Been too long to still be in practice.. Hopefully shoot mine on Wednesday night
o.k. I got hold of one of the clubs target rifles last night and shot the following...read 'em and weep...I know I did
Original 75, Geco's score 122
I have never used a match rifle before, the trigger was amazingly light, I am pretty sure I wasn't using the peep sights correctly as the target image seemed to fish-eye and the gun hadn't been shot in years...If anyone can think of any other excuses I can use, let me know.
p.s. It was great fun.
So, todate the scores are (to be ammended when, hopefully, more come in)
MrFixit (Steve) Steyr Match CO2 - 171
MrFixit Steyr LG1 ssp - 166
I. J. Walther LG55 (recoiling) - 149
MrFixit WaltherLG55 (recoiling) - 147
LeadLobber Original 75 (Recoiless) - 122
I think thats one score for each category.
I must insist that shooting naked has points deducted.

'I think thats one score for each category.'...And that's as close to winning as I am ever going to get.
Right, got the foresight fitted and with a few for practice..
Scored them myself, going to check with a proper gauge when I find it.. Witnessed and photographed..
Diana 75 finale match pellets, couple borderline but looks to be 170 on 4 cards.
