Mmmm.....Don't do it, there will be tears of regret later and leads to starting all over again and never replacing your prized collection to the quality you have now....If they are in the way and cluttering up your house, I can look after them for you for free.......

If it's good gear a specialised auction house like Holts

Sell it on here.
You will generally get more for it than elsewhere and avoid any fees. Less liklihood of time-wasters/scam artists too.
At the same time, giving your fellow BBS's the first opportunity to buy seems the right thing to do (to me, anyway).
Happy Shooting!! Paul.

Thousands of guns go through every year, it wont be the first time some idiot home tunes something and it finds its way onto the market.
There's a sellers declaration for every gun if that said its licence free thats how it would be sold, its an auction house at the end of the day

I'd also be inclined to recommend selling on the forum first. Then going through Gunstar/Guntrader/Freeads later.
If it's a lot of kit, you may get more by selling the rifles and scopes separately.
If there's any chance that you might regret selling it all later, maybe you could pick an absolute favourite from the bunch and keep it
Good luck with whatever you decide.
All of the above.
You need to consider the options and costs:
- on here or another airgun forum: possibly the best price providing you are realistic but also a little risk if you have to post a pcp; better with a boinger. F2F sale clearly the best but may limit your market.
- Guntrader / Gunstar / FreeAds ... no experience of costs but maybe considerations as option1.
- direct to a dealer / gun shop. Most likely the lowest price except if you wish to part exchange. Maybe a dealer sale on commission could get a better price. Advantage is no hassle in selling but you may have to wait for a sale in the case of a commission sale.
- Auction: bit of a lottery as it could go at a very low price or maybe at a high price ... no guarantee although you could put a reserve on it. Fees could be 15 - 20% of hammer price. Advantage is generally easy sale process. If it does not sell it should automatically be put in the next auction. You do, of course have to get it to the auction house although I believe some will collect if you are selling a few guns.
- via your local gun club could be a good option; let it be known you are selling an item or items?
