If he could stretch his budget to £200 the Webley MKV1 (particularly in battlefield finish) is, despite being pre WW2, a superb example and unlike many bb pistols at a similar price worth every penny.
My eldest son is very much into older type pistols.
As he has a keen interest in history and military collections he wants to get a suitable pistol from around the WW2 era.
I know there are quite a few bb versions out there but sadly he can't use it down the clubs range as Pellet is only allowed on the pistol range.
I know the Luger parabellum would be top of his wish list but I can't see any manufacture offering a Pellet version they all seem to be bb
Can anyone suggest any other Pellet pistols that are not modern?
I'm also looking at revolvers but to be honest don't know which are the good ones or which to avoid plus some seem to be huge money
His budget is around £120 new or secondhand.

The Webley pistols do look superb.
Quite a bit out of his budget for now unless a secondhand bargain comes up so defenatley food for thought.
He's really looking for a replica type pistol hence the Diana wouldn't really fit the bill.
Thanks for the info chaps.
Umarex 1911 pellet, second hand, in the basic blue finish.
At his budget he's close to secondhand Umarex Colt 1911 which would tick all the boxes and they are quite nice too.
A bit expensive but always the.

The S&W 586/686 came out in the 80's and unfortunately doesn't look much like a WW2 S&W revolver.

Sadly our club takes a different view as any form of BB's are not allowed.
I tried when I owned a Makarov MP654K to get them to re-evaluate them even using gamo lead BB's but without any success.
I really hoped they would allow it as I loved my old Mak.
It's not my place to rock the boat any further and just accepted it hence Pellet is therefore only allowed.

Isn't there also a pellet-firing Nagant?
