Doggy finally settled around 11.00 last night.
Walked and brekkie earlier this morning and she's looking okay.
Love that dog dog.
Just started again, Pauly. She seems fine, just restless. There is some cat food which the cats have left in their bowls just where she walks past to go to the door, which she'll be wanting to snaffle as she walks by. I reckon that's what the fuss is about. I'll go give her a cuddle now. She's got extra doggy biscuits down, but ignoring them.

A broken power washer meant a short play with the TX200 Tony. Scoped the k98. She sounds awful but shoots straight & the HW98 was as good as ever. Getting the Meteor out next weekend

There's always something to curtail quality boingering time isn't there?
At least you managed a little playtime though, Pete.
I seem to remember that you'd had a peek inside the Diana the other week? Maybe time for a little internal bum-fettling?
And, talking of the Meteor, they're supposedly out playing tonight aren't they? I've been and had a look a couple of times (generally clear-ish here) and not one of the elusive little buggers to be seen!
Three weeks from now, brothers.....BOING!!

No meteors in the sky here Tone - too cloudy.
They all went out for a Chinese meal tonight for Aarons birthday. I didn't go as I don't like it. They were concerned I'd be ok all on my own. I said I'd be fine so when they left around 18:00 I wolfed down some cheese on toast, packed a couple of guns and the NV and went ratting, still here now having a sit down in the car. 5 Rolands and 6 feral pigeons so far. I'll give it another hour and see if I can add to the scaly tail tally and then go home before they get in and tell them what a lonesome night I had and how much I missed them

I may fit a piston liner to the Diana before the bash. I intend to pick a few brains over the weekend & have her sorted for April.
John (that was there for the Saturday last time) is getting some goodies for his 97. Hope he can make it to this one

Presumably a delrin pre-load washer Pete, rather than an AA metal one?
Your Kar98 would suit a nice old turret mounted Carl Zeiss Jena scope don't you think? And I'd be delighted (not, I must emphasise, in an erotic sense) to see you shooting it whilst attired in a Wehrmacht Heer tunic and stahlhelm.
All the best, Ted.
