HRPC Club Shoot and Sixty Point Challenge 10th June Results

What a cracking day for a shoot and it was great to see so many people. Thanks to everybody who came along and I really hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. The course was pretty much dictated by nature (as I couldn’t find some of the targets) but seemed to end up as a nice mix of the relatively easy, medium to hard, quite tricky and down right difficult. As usual every target was killed at least once but nobody managed to clear it although Roger Dibbens had a good go to finish with the top score, cracking score on the day.
I’d also especially like to thank John Goldthorpe who pitched up this morning to help set up despite a back injury that prevented him from shooting.
Any way without any more waffle here are the final scores, apologies if I’ve spelt anybody’s name wrong. Let me know and I’ll correct it.

    Roger Dibbens 57
    Kevin Hills 56
    Dave Powell 56
    Bob Pattenden 55
    Kevin Wickson 55
    Aaron Friend 55
    Mark Rackley 54
    Graeme Calgan (R ) 54
    Doug Falcon 54
    Howard Kalisch 54
    Steve West 54
    Terry Evans 54
    John Newton May 53
    Nigel Buchan 52
    Andy Simpson 52
    Kim Lun 52
    Peter Fenn 52
    Simon Humphries 51
    Gary Channing 51
    Russ Connor 51
    Nick Farley 51
    G Morrison 51
    Harvey Friend (J) 48
    Ally Stewart (L) 44
    Ian King 43
    Jeremy Costelloe 43
    Colin Muggeridge (R ) 41

As nobody cleared the course the sixty-point challenge pot will roll over to our next shoot and start out at £103. You have to be in it to win it though.

It was mine and my other half's first visit to the HRPC 60 point challenge, had a cracking shoot and I shot my personal best whilst my other half embarked on a grand deforestation campaign.
Many thx for a very enjoyable shoot in the woods accompanied by the soundtrack of electric woodpeckers.
