as these aren't sold in the uk, im guessing it isnt allowed?
Anyone ever used one? they look quite fun but have no idea what sort of power levels a pcp need to be putting out in order to propel a lightweight arrow or bolt?
Regards all.
I have a cp2 rifle/pistol and have a longer barrel made up for short 12" arrows to slide over and is fun when you fancy a change

These people maintain that their airbows are legal, I think they are going from the point of 'lethal barrelled weapon'. If you can't put anything inside the barrel.......it ain't a barrel. It's very interesting, but I wouldn't want to be the first one to test it out in court........
These are a lot of fun. I have an old rifle that I made a firing tube for, for firing arrows as an experiment. its quite a shock firing one and to a degree capable out to 30yds but not wholly accurate. maybe it needed more power to get the arrows to fly better? mind you, they were all old Easton alloy's and a little bendy.
Personally I'm still not sure of the UK laws around these but there are plenty of models availabe and some at a reasonable cost so maybe?. check out Silver Archery - LINK
It shoots pellets with the longer pellet barrel at 10.9-11.2 i had the barrel machined up by a good friend I'll get it out over the weekend and get some photos etc the arrows seem like an inbetween crossbow bolt and fill size arrow. We have a play with it in a building with a bit straw bale stack archery target pinned into bales and away we go not accurate by archery means but fun all the same
There is quite an informative discussion I found on another forum. I'll post the link. If it's not allowed, I'll apologise now and obviously the mods will delete it.

Just so as not to make the same mistake, where do I find the banned list?
I've had an arrow barrel for my RTI Priest for over a year now and still haven't used it, it took me a while to get some arrows made (specific size shafts) but I really must have a play with it.
One shot, one kill. Not luck, just skill.
