Not a definitive answer but when I fettled my early Supersport about three years ago the standard seal (age of seal unknown) looked fine so I just re-used it. Still very consistent and makes power very easily.
bit of lockdown boredom, I was wondering if anyone has experience with different parachute seals for the likes of BSA supersport\ superstar etc so far I have seen standard red or black ones from Knibbs\ chambers etc, the fancy red Aussie via e-bay, PTFE ones from Terry Robb and the green ones from Vmach. Any valuable input welcome.

Original seals can be a bit loose, but work in guns were they seal well.
Knibbs' seal is oversize, and can be fit to your specific cylinder.
JM/ARH makes a seal that works good, but is not as large as the Knibbs' seal, so cant be fit to oversize cylinders.
Haven't tried the aussie seal.
I always thought these were o rings.
I picked up a V-mach green seal a couple a years ago for my old supersport / lightning, far better quality over the std seal. But the output was just about the same as the std seal
However i've only put 20 shots through it over the chrono, needs running really
Cheers
Daryl

Theirs nothing better than the standard bsa seal they are good quality give good performance and last years.
Dave.
I believe that you would order directly from them in the 'States? Just Google up "Air Rifle Headquarters"; that should find them.
If you wanted to try the V-Mach seal, I believe Lyn Lewington (venoman on here) may have a stock of the V-Mach ones. I have V-Mach seals in a fair few of my Weihrauchs and they are excellent.
Standard BSA ones available from Chambers, Redbeck Shooting Supplies, Protek Supplies, your local, friendly RFD.....
