In terms of upping shot count, yes. Pretty much the full volume of the existing cylinder plus the ability to go to a higher fill pressure (232bar IIRC), and no need to drill your existing cylinder. What's not to like?

I'm looking at getting a Lanes regulator and air gauge for my AA S200 in .177 and have seen both internal and external ones for sale. The rifle shoots very nice and accurately but I'm looking at upping the shot count per fill.
I know the external would be easier to fit but are they as good as internal?

internal takes some cylinder air volume, external does not. So you will get more shots with external, but it pushes the cylinder a fraction forwards.
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. But not lathes. I have too many lathes. Thanks, JB.
Just out of interest how many cm’s further forward?
People who kill animals for their own entertainment should be avoided at all costs, both physically and socially, by any means. They will drag you down to their own level, and that is not a place any decent human being would want to be.
Thanks for the replies, looks like I'll be getting the external regulator and air gauge.
