For those Bash members who have read my sales thread will know I have stated that I will not bring the said guns if there is no interest shown in them, the reason being that I will be unable to take them to the B & B i'm staying at as the proprietor said he didn't mind me taking in two or three guns into the accommodation. As I am taking four guns to shoot I will have eight in total.
If I don't sell any by the time I leave for the B & B I was wondering if a kind Bash member would be willing to look after them in their tent, caravan or motorhome for me while the following morning please.

This will at least enable people who may be interested in any gun to make me an offer, all the guns are open to what I would call a reasonable offer.

    Regards

    Top man, as always, Dave.

Yay! Managed to get a little play time in yesterday.

As per the thread on Supersport dovetail width, I took the scope & mounts off the Ratty mini-carbine and fitted them on the 'Sport. Sorted and zeroed.. At least at garden range. Might need a tweak once it gets to longer range.

Re-fitted the red dot sight to the Ratty. It's a Walther Competition one. Can't really quite remember why I removed it a few years ago. Zero quickly re-established and it was great fun down the garden. The rats wouldn't stand a chance!

I’m going to drive to Cheltenham on Monday for my 6 week post-op appointment with the Consultant, that’ll be about a 45mins journey. Let’s see how I go. I’m holding back on committing to The Bash due to it being a 2.5/3 hour drive. I’m also still unsure if camping is a wise move or not at this stage.
    How did Monday go, Pauly?

The Consultant was very pleased with my progress but said I still need to take things easy for “a few more weeks” - no heavy lifting or twisting. As for the 45 minute drive, I was fine over that distance but very stiff when I got out. I’m still reserving judgement on attending the Bash but will decide by Monday/Tuesday next week.

It’d be great to see you Paul but if it’s a long term gain over short term fun then it’s a no brainier, sounds really good progress though kid.
