    Best, Craig
Like that most beautiful, aforementioned open sighted hex-shrouded 77 of yours, Craig. Truly and utterly delicious. So very well done on this wondrous creation. Simple, plain, classy, effective. The work on the shroud, fore sight and underlever catch is magnificent. Shot sublimely, too. I don't just want one, I NEED one!!!

I'll be zooming in and out of those images I took for a long time!

Yesterday was one of the truly great Bash days
Craig's 77 was absolutely awesome (as was his shooting but I am not going to tell him that)
Loads of great guns on show
I am glad the chalk men met everyones approval
But.. most of all it was the terrific company
Several times I had to stop shooting until I had finished laughing
It was great to meet some new people from the forum and as Hellequin says come along it is really the friendliest place around
The good news for me is I get to do it again today

Have a great day all and I'll see you again soon.
Yes, Chris's performance didn't go unnoticed.. You were all giving the poor old Bucket a right good hammering!

Understood re the need to play catch up on your beautiful stock work, Craig. Although it'd be an awesome bonus for all if you were to arrive.

And sorry for being a total plonker and forgetting to give you Mick's water fountain.

Hey, it's still in the boot, so if you were to come you'd be making a little pupster very happy too!

If not, plan B will have to come into play.

That Craig typifies the simple beauty of an air rifle
It is absolutely a work of genius
You are making me wonder what could be achieved with my Mk1 TX200 that failed to sell
Between your work to the barrel and Paul's engraving expertise something good could happen

I think Paul is going to be a busy man - that engraving is a perfect midway solution.
I've also got a MK1 TX in bits that I'm thinking of playing with - I drove back home thinking about it yesterday.

If there is a better way of spending a day than in a lovely bit of countryside, with a lovely bunch of people playing with some amazing pieces of craftsmanship, then I have yet to find it. Catching up with old friends, making new ones, and just being in such a friendly gathering is something rather special.
So once again a huge thank you to Neil and Tina for all the work beforehand and all the work afterwards which lets this amazing event happen - we are all most grateful to you.

You have some very, very nice toys there.

So glad you enjoyed yourr maiden visit. Everyone does. But it's so nice to hear. Any newcomer might have those very same concerns about attending for the first time. But, as you have also now witnessed, turn up, be welcomed and fit straight in. There are no primadonnas or cliques at a Bash. Just nice, genuine, honest, friendly folk sharing their love for our air powered toys.

Look forward to seeing you next year.
Likewise Tony, great to meet you & I'll definitely be back next year. I think I did more talking than shooting but it was so good to finally make it to a bash. Thanks for letting me have a go with your Predator, I'll be honest, I don't think I'd even heard of them let alone seen or shot one!

    Best, Craig
Yes it'd be great to catch up at the next one Craig, I'd wanted to have a chat about stock refurbishment but the day went by so quick!

I also managed to come away with an unexpected addition to the gun rack- I bought Mel's little Relum Telly! It might be going on the bench for a light fettle though, it's a PROPER BOINGer

Great to read of all having such a brilliant day, I'd hoped to make it down with Hellequin, but couldn't wangle it.

    Bring on Boing 2024!

I looked at that too and had to reign myself in! Had to do the same with Mikes pistol and another couple of bits I saw, too.
Other than a rifle and ammunition, the only thing you need to bring to the bash is self discipline where the sales table is concerned...

That's like telling me not to look in the sales section on here... never gonna happen! I've got the breaking strain of a KitKat 🤣

Yes I find the sales table impossible to pass, I've had some good purchases from it in the past, I've missed it this weekend but I shall be saving my money for next year's bashes.
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in
