Well, looking at the weather we've had overnight (and some places have been really badly affected, I feel so sorry for them), are having and are going to get, those weather gods were most certainly smiling on Quigley Bottom this weekend.

Neil and Tina.......I don't know how you do it, but I'm so glad you managed to pull another blinder!

Thank you so much once again for everything.

I know a few of you commented on how well my knee replacement has gone but I am still not up to walking all that way to check a 35's muzzle crown

    Oh yes. Those chalk men!

Pete, thank you so much for bringing them along. They were great fun and gave immense satisfaction when squarely hit and exploding into clouds of dust.

    Thank you!

Thank you for your kind words. Shame you couldn't make it, but fully appreciated when you consider the distance and logistics.

Fingers crossed for you that you might be able to attend one day. You'd love it.

I wondered when I was going to get dragged into this conversation, you should count yourself lucky I finally gave in and got myself a German rifle
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

He's coming to one next year Tony, even if I have to go up to Scotland to fetch him. I've even got a tent he can borrow, so no excuses

    Bash leftovers

Thank you for all your kind words.

There has been left behind a green sleepmat (Tinbum?), a tent peg (Bullet243) and tin of .22 pellets with the label almost indecipherable.

The pellets could get used in due course.
Bullet243 may be short of pegs when he next puts his gazebo up.

I have nearly put everything away. It's all at home. Just starts to rain when I go out to put it away, my excuse.
