Mental really. When I was 16 they were very much the BSA Meteor of the moped world
We all wanted a Malagutti Monte
    I has a Fantic Ti
Cheek of that Pete suggesting you would have anything like scooter (spits over right shoulder) tools!!
They probably were and even now better engineered than Meteors but no way near so loveable

P.s I can't remember whether Kawasaki did a sixteener special.
    I had a Demm Dove
The more I think I know, the more I realise the less I know.

They did an AR50 in the 80's, although I really wanted an AR125 when I was 17. One of the kids at our school had a Suzuki when he turned 16, a gorgeous TS50 in the yellow/blue colours. I wasn't jealous at all...

    Superb value.

And you might get to chat / get tips off a top shot and all-round nice bloke.

I'd be there every week if I were allowed.
Yeah it sounds good mate. If you're up for a morning or aft there one weekend I'll give you a shout?

The last one I saw for sale was in a motor bike shop I used to deliver to about 20 years ago. It was about £3k then.
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

I had a Gilera and Suzuki X1 as my 50s.

Then a 250 X7 and onto bigger stuff.......

That Pete likes to play those name games. And with Lambretta being quite close to my surname......

He's a funny bloke; got to love him. Heart of gold too. AND he's getting a 35!
I know nothing about bikes, my brother had a fizzy, my mate had a RD250 with a power band and I remember he had a ZX10 poster on his wall and said he always wanted a Dominater (I think it turned out to be his wife)

    Bollocks am I getting a 35.

You will be pleased to know that your dodgy little mate Xander is now zipping around the local area on his very own yellow 1980 Honda Camino.

Yes, from memory, I think you're right, Paul. I can't remember Kawasaki doing a 50 before the AR. Very nice looking things. As well as it and the 125, they made an 80 as well.

I liked those later TSs. Those later ones (ERs) with the more angular tanks looked cool in my eyes. I very nearly went for the TS185ER at 17 instead of the X7. Wonder how different my biking might have been had I gone down that route?

Oky doky. I think I'll have to be building some brownie points up first, though.. I'll let you know once I can see an opportunity.. In the meantime, if you get the chance, go for it. You'd love it.

Good ones have been fetching over £5000 for years, Pete. And some even more, as per flyingfish Pete's post earlier!
