No, no, no, peeps. Only the lightest of precision engineers' instruments are allowed to get anywhere near our precious Sleepometer.

I totally agree with you Tone, I think the BBS keeps us all going with the added advantage of giving us the bashes as well, you think how many years I went without going to a Bash, looking forward as much as you are to the next one, we'll see what interesting projects turn up next time, lots of shed tinkering time until then.
Absolutely, Pete. Our beloved BBS will keep us entertained in the meantime. Must get more tinkering done this Autumn and Winter. If only I had a shed.......

Absolutely. Pauly, I feel for you, bruv. It must be so disappointing to have had to miss this one out. But I honestly think, as many have said, that you did the right thing. You have to think of those long term implications. And be fully fit to soak in three full Bashes next year.

We all wanted a Malagutti Monte
    I has a Fantic Ti
Cheek of that Pete suggesting you would have anything like scooter (spits over right shoulder) tools!!

But also a time for contemplation and regeneration.

Just think, a week ago it was the first day of The Bash for many. So much fun and boingery boingering to look forward to. And some even luckier folk had already been at Quigley Bottom for one or two days. And now we have to endure the Autumn, Winter and a good chunk of next Spring (BOING!) before we can be together again.

Keep boingering on, peeps. Keep playing. Keep tinkering. Keep the Boingery faith. And keep keeping in touch on here and that first Bash of 2024, and all the joy it will bring, will be upon us before we know.

    BOING!
Already looking forward in anticipation of the Bash dates for 2024 Tony. I'll be making time to have a full weekend camping on at least one of them but will try to attend all three.

Think I'm going to book a few sessions at the indoor range near Donny over winter (I really need to zero my 77 & 124 at 30yds rather than 22) and maybe have a look at that new Camelot club.
Going to the bash has given me a kick up the arris to do more shooting

    Milwhats?

I might get a modern-ish scope again at some point, I just can't bring myself to put something non-glossy on my old rifles.

I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Brian Samson's fantastic Doncaster Airgun Range.

Up to 45 yards indoors with no worries over wind and inclement weather.

Really friendly atmosphere and most certainly not cliquey or stuffy.

    Superb value.

And you might get to chat / get tips off a top shot and all-round nice bloke.

I'd be there every week if I were allowed.

    Yep, them prices are mental!

I had a Gilera and Suzuki X1 as my 50s.

Then a 250 X7 and onto bigger stuff.......

That Pete likes to play those name games. And with Lambretta being quite close to my surname......

He's a funny bloke; got to love him. Heart of gold too. AND he's getting a 35!

After the Fantic I had a BSA B25 SS Goldstar
Lusted after a T140 E Bonneville until a drunken driver ended my motor biking
