    Ticking some boxes

Hi all, new to the group and looking for a used PCP outfit with a budget around £500. I am left handed, but don’t want a true left handed setup because resale value is an important factor.
I have had a brief look at a gunshop near me, but they had no S/H stock, however several guns with the bolt at rear of action felt fine, the Walther Rotex was a bit too heavy for me.
There were a couple of ultra-cheap outfits that included scope, etc. but these gave the impression of being “disposable” items with little or no resale value,
All advice and input most welcome. TIA

I'm completely out of touch with starter gear, but search "AAR on air" on youtube he's a proper journalist who reviews a lot of kit & tells it as it is.
Remember if it's a PCP you need a method of filling it, & if you opt for a scuba tank you need somewhere to fill the tank.
Do your research before you invest cash.

Thanks for the swift reply I will probably start with a stirrup pump, ideally as part of an outfit, but have been a scuba diver for 20yrs, so have plenty of contacts in that area.

as to research, I have found that in most hobbies there is price range that goes from "cheap throwaway rubbish" to "King's new clothes" there is usually somewhere in the middle where there is a good quality item at a sensible price that is easy to sell on if one wishes to upgrade. Cheers

My first PCP was an RM8, mine weighed 13lb ready too shoot!

Gamo Phox 'Kit' are still under £600, you might get one for £500 if you took cash to a shop.
Very reliable rifle, nothing to complain about ambi stock... IF I could find one s/h locally in .177 I'd have it in a flash for inclement weather.
