I saw yours the other day, I like Les's because it has the nicer stock on it, I have a thing about those style of stock, it looks classic with graceful lines, I think because it looks like the stocks fitted to the BSA Challenger, Superstar, Goldstar is why I like it, the later HW stocks look awful.

Fully agree on the later HW stocks --- WTF ?

But here's the beauty of the Weihrauch range, there are many options to swap stocks with later models.
From what I can make out my latest HW85 :-

has what is known as the prototype stock which is quite rare but I have better stocks from the Weihrauch range I can fit.

Basically with the HW85 you have a choice of using any stock from HW85s, HW95s, HW98s and the Chinese XS20s besides the option of using a custom 95 stock

I have a beater of an 85 in a Walnut XS20 stock and the last HW85 action I bought is now sitting in a late HW95 stock :-
